Weekly Transits – 7/28/2025

This next week asks us to become intimately aware of and in tune with our values and boundaries as we end July and begin August.

On Monday, we experience an opening sextile between Chiron, the wounded healer and Venus. Venus sits in a degree related to pardons, being “let off the hook” and allowed to begin again and it’s sextiling Chiron in Aries 28 “A large disappointed audience”. We may receive news and/or communications of a disappointing nature that evoke painful realizations. What we learn through this transit may immediately bring struggle, but is ultimately helping us transmute disappointment into true embodiment of our values.

On Wednesday, Chiron stations retrograde, pulling our attention once again to a collective feeling of disappointment. Chiron will travel back to Aries 23 between now and Jan 2026. Also on Wednesday, Venus moves into Cancer, the cardinal water sign of home, family and our instinctual needs for security and stability. Venus will spend most of August in Cancer, so be ready to feel your feelings. As she enters the sign of the crab, she’ll make an opening square to both Saturn and Neptune in Aries on Friday. These transits can find us fixated/rooted in our fear body, and with the Moon in Scorpio from late Thursday to Sunday, we may find ourselves trapped in the depths of our feelings. This week we have an opportunity to show ourselves and others more grace. Watch your spending and solidify healthy boundaries over the course of this week.

Thursday brings an illuminating Mercury (in retrograde) cazimi (conjunction to the Sun) in Leo 10 – “Early morning dew” – a degree related to relief and joy that can come after struggle. Thursday could be a very busy day with a high likelihood of good news – stay open, optimistic and faithful, fam!
