Weekly Transits – 7/1/2024

As we kick off July, we may feel a powerful increase of flow as restrictions lessen and a New Moon in Cancer redirects our ambitions towards what can provide us greater fulfillment.

At the start of the week, Neptune stations retrograde where it will slowly revisit the last couple degrees of Pisces until turning direct again in December. After stationing, Neptune trines Mercury as Mercury speeds ahead into the fixed fire sign of Leo. The same day (7/2), Venus trines Saturn, making the same mature celebratory connection Mercury made last week (see last Wednesday’s post). This double-trine day should feel rejuvenating and creative – it’s a good day to bask in the realm of possibilities.

On 7/3, Mercury makes an opposition to Pluto in Aquarius. It’s always important to be discerning when new information surfaces, and today is no exception – misinformation is likely to spread wildly under the influence of this transit.

Then on 7/5, we have a New Moon in Cancer the same day Mars sextiles Saturn (now retrograde). With another flowing aspect to Saturn from a personal planet, we may finally start feeling like we are getting on top of our to-do lists, creating the necessary structures and systems to re-focus our ambitions and desires. This New Moon is a great time to re-commit to what you know brings you spiritual and emotional fulfillment.

To close the week, we have Venus squaring Chiron – should challenges arise, it’s important to recognize and honor all the healing you’ve done and are continuing to do – hold gratitude for where you are and know that your light and shadow can work together in harmony to propel you further.
