This week brings us a leadership emphasizing Sagittarius Full Moon sandwiched between significant pockets of tension that are ultimately moving us forward.
It may be difficult to see the forest from the trees Monday. Mercury squares both Saturn and Neptune, Venus squares Pluto, AND Saturn moves into Aries 2, passing the #worldaxis baton to Jupiter in Cancer 1. Mercury’s squares can bring up frustrating reality checks or misunderstandings, but also the potential to help us nail down some details where flaws become crystal clear. And Venus squaring Pluto may also raise the emotional temperature in specific relationships.
Jupiter, who spends ~1 year in every sign, leaves its detriment in Gemini and enters its exaltation in Cancer. Matters of family, safety and home will be expanded. Given the crunchiness of the triple-squares on Monday, it may feel best to welcome in this very palpable shift from the comfort of your couch/bed.
Tuesday, Mars in Leo makes a lovely trine to Chiron in Aries, awakening degrees related to new dawns and creative imaginations. We may feel finally ready to move forward in a new direction.
Wednesday brings the Sag Full Moon which gives us a lot to be optimistic about if we’re not happy with the status quo. See my Correspondence guide posted Saturday for all the details. Mercury also sextiles Venus Wed, a lighthearted transit that can go unnoticed – take time to smell the roses!
On Sunday, June 15th, the 3rd and final first quarter square perfects between Jupiter and Saturn. These social planets began their 20-yr synodic cycle on the winter solstice of 2020 when the Great Conjunction occurred in my namesake degree (Aquarius 1 – An old adobe mission). This square is a critical progress check on the lasting value of any new structures we’ve built and grown over the past 4.5 years. Also Sunday, Mars squares Uranus, so expect the unexpected and be careful out there next weekend.
