This week is highlighted by a sumptuous Taurus New Moon on the 7th. With Venus, the ruler of Taurus, in her dignity, the Moon exalted in Taurus in a Moon-ruled decan (my natal Moon sits in this decan, so I’m quite partial to it 😉), I’m expecting this one to feel really grounding, supportive and stabilizing after the intensity of April and last week’s Pluto influences.
A detailed correspondence guide to this New Moon will be posted soon, so stay tuned for that!
There are also 2 lovely transits that occur right before tomorrow’s New Moon. Monday, Mercury, the planet of ideas, communication and our monkey-minds meets up with Chiron, the wounded healer in Aries 22 (Gate to the garden of desires) – a Sabian focused on “Cosmic Optimism” (Rudhyar’s keywords). That can’t hurt, right?
Then, just hours before the New Moon, the Sun (and Moon) make sextiles to Saturn in Pisces 18 (A gigantic tent) from Taurus 18 (A woman holding a bag out of a window). This easy connection may bring us the clear and focused confidence to do some necessary tasks and even put ourselves on display in some form or fashion with an open mind and receptive attitude towards the future.
Bursts of productivity may help ignite and spark some clear intentions for how we want to move forward after the start of this new moon cycle – and the Sagittarius Full Moon that follows on the 23rd looks nothing short of extraordinary, so dream big!
What intentions are you setting this New Moon?
