Happy Earth Day! This week gives us a deep-diving full moon in Scorpio, Mercury stationing direct on Thursday, and Mars meeting up with Neptune on Sunday. It’s an intensely emotional, possibly illuminating and cathartic week which still holds reverberations of the Jupiter/Uranus conjunction and Sun square Pluto of late last week.

We’re still in RE-season (yes Mercury goes direct Thursday, but he won’t clear his shadow till the second week of May), so pay attention to details and expect some repeat conversations and important issues to re-emerge.

With Pluto square the Full Moon, I expect us to receive illumination into the effectiveness of the repatterning journey we seeded in late January (when Pluto and the Sun met in that very last degree of Capricorn) – this could be both validating and also uncomfortable – transformation is hard work!

Tuesday’s Full Moon takes place in Scorpio 5 which has the Sabian Symbol: A massive rocky shore. This Sabian is the culmination of the “Stability” 5-degree expression and has themes relating to the importance of community and institutional stability in achieving greater individual freedom. More on this Full Moon will be posted soon!

The only other direct aspect this week occurs Sunday when Mars and Neptune meet in Pisces 29 (A prism). This degree is about seeing spirit/god/source in everything and (according to Jones) is also “a symbol of the world’s stability and, of the refusal of nature to change any aspect of herself unnecessarily.” It takes place back in Hexagram 25 (Innocence), Line 1. This hexagram both ends and begins the zodiac, so something may feel like it’s coming full circle with this conjunction. Neptune transits can be…confusing, so give yourself grace this weekend and know the path forward will become clearer over time.

Next week we’ll see Venus enter her home sign of Taurus and Mars enter his home sign of Aries, which along with a direct Mercury will certainly change the tempo and likely have us feeling a bit more at ease after the intensity we’ve been enduring this April.
