This week is headlined by the Mars/Venus Aquarius 1 Pluto conjunctions on the 14th and 17th.

Before her meetup with Pluto, Venus makes a lovely sextile to her higher octave, Neptune on the 13th, the same day Mars enters Aquarius (at 12:05am CST). Mars made this transit last week, but Neptune has since changed degree into Pisces 27 (A Harvest Moon) so Venus will be making her sextile from Capricorn 27 (A mountain pilgrimage). This sextile brings ease to aligning our dreams and values. Use it to become more confident of the direction you want to move in this year.

Mercury is speeding through Aquarius, sextiling Chiron on Thursday and squaring Uranus on Friday – these feel like bursts of ideas/communication in reaction to the revelations we may have gained from its Pluto conjunction last week, all the Aquarian energies this month and the recent new moon. The Mars/Pluto conjunction can bring a great deal of intensity into how we conduct ourselves, so direct your ideas and communication this week with careful intention so they can do the most good.

By the weekend, all personal planets will be in Aquarius (save the Moon), with the Sun and Moon both moving into watery Pisces/Cancer just before midnight (CST) Sunday night. We may begin next week really feeling our feelings 😂

Valentine’s Day packs a punch this year with Mars and its higher octave Pluto making their conjunction in Aquarius 1 – hosted by the Old Adobe Mission…Do I sound like a broken record yet mentioning my favorite Sabian?

This ambitious, possibly aggressive and transformative transit happens the same day
Saturn moves into the 9th degree of Pisces and Jupiter moves into the 10th degree of Taurus – these two social planets have been forming a near-but-not-quite-exact sextile dance this month, bringing ease to how we create systems and structures for growth and expansion in our lives.

Saturn’s transition takes it from the summoning energy of “A girl blowing a bugle” to the action-oriented energy of “A jockey (spurs his horse, intent on outdistancing his rivals)”. Jupiter moves from Taurus 9 “A decorated Christmas tree” to Taurus 10 “A Red Cross Nurse”. Rudhyar’s keynote for this Sabian is “The compassionate linking of all men”. I expect news, action, and significant momentum for social change this day/week.

The final personal planet triple play Pluto/Aquarius 1 conjunction with Venus occurs on the 17th – bringing a softer touch to what we’re transforming while reminding us to hold true to our values no matter how much the world shakes around us.

Between these Pluto conjunctions, Mercury makes a sextile to Chiron on the 15th and then squares Uranus on the 16th. These transits may bring ease to the sharing of ideas and communication related to what needs healing…but may also hold tension related to how those ideas will take form and ultimately awaken and shift the collective consciousness.
