“A rising tide lifts all boats” – Resilience and healing through optimism and cooperation is the theme of the week as Chiron and Jupiter pull focus through their aspects to each other, Mercury, Mars and the Sun.
Venus starts the week off by trining Mars in Cancer 19 – “A priest performing a marriage ceremony” from Scorpio 19 – “A parrot listening and then talking” – this connection may enhance our cooperation and perhaps boost our natural ability to receive messages through our every day rituals.
Now I’ll break down all these 22 Sabians to give us a flavor of what else to expect this week:
Chiron, the planet of our greatest wounds and how we heal sits in Aries 22 – “The gate to the garden of desire” – a Sabian that Rudhyar gives the keynote “Cosmic Optimism” – need I say more? Keep your glass half full!
On Wednesday, Jupiter, the planet of expansion and growth, stations retrograde in Gemini 22 “A barn dance” – a Sabian about the release of emotions within a community.
Mercury (Tue) and the Sun (Sun) each trine Jupiter and oppose Chiron from Libra 22 – “A child giving birds a drink at the fountain” – a timely and potent symbol about helping others and lifting up your community.
Mars, the planet of our ambition and drive, squares Chiron Sunday from Cancer 22 – “A woman awaiting a sailboat” – a symbol of uncertainty, expectancy and longing. While optimism may be difficult to hold onto amidst the clouds, that’s the assignment.
Pluto is also a huge player this week, finally stationing direct in the last degree of Capricorn – moving forwards through the “A secret business conference” degree related to the power players of the world. Expect revealing headlines and outdated power structures to wobble.
Mercury squares Pluto Sunday Libra 30 “Three mounds of knowledge on a philosopher’s head” before it moves into Scorpio – calling us to reflect on the final chapter of the last ~16 years of Pluto in Capricorn that is being written. What structures, paradigms, and outdated beliefs are ready to crumble away? It’s time for some deep reflection.
