This week Venus takes center stage, putting our values and relationships in the spotlight for Thursday’s Aries Full Moon.
Monday 10/14 starts off extra spicy with two exact transits: Venus opposite Uranus and Sun square Mars. Venus opposes Uranus in Taurus 27 (An old native woman selling beads) from Scorpio 27 (A military band on the march) – pitting our more aggressive tendencies against our more peaceful nature, perhaps bringing an exciting or surprising new perspective to a situation. And with the Sun from Libra 22 (A child giving birds a drink at a fountain) squaring Mars in Cancer 22 (A woman awaiting a sailboat), we have feminine energy again looming large over a very masculine transit. If faced with uncertainty, the advice here is to tamper your aggression, give generously and protect your physical and energetic body. It’s a good week to lay low and observe vs engage.
On Tuesday, Venus and her higher octave Neptune form a flowing trine, bringing us a deeper awareness into how our dreams are manifesting into reality. Stand strong in your inner authority and hold gratitude for all the blessings that surround you amidst the turbulence of the outside world.
Then on Thursday we have a very potent Aries Full Moon. While Mars rules Aries, Venus and the divine (and righteous) feminine dominate the energies for this Full Moon as the Sun travels through Venus-ruled Libra and the Moon sits exactly conjunct Eris in a Venus-ruled decan of Aries. The same day of the Full Moon also has Venus sextiling Pluto (now direct for the last time in Capricorn 30) and moving into optimistic Sagittarius. I’ll post my detailed correspondence guide to this Full Moon on Monday.
Remain receptive and firm in your values this week. Prioritize generosity over animosity towards others and practice self-care without guilt. Don’t take the bait or overextend if you can help it.
