We kick the week off with a potent Sun trine Uranus and a Full Moon conjunct Mars. Check out my detailed correspondence guide for this lunation which asks us to avoid getting swept up into storms stirred up by those who only hold the illusion of power. Instead, take deliberate small steps for your own well being.
Tuesday Venus squares Jupiter activating degrees related to our certainty of purpose, inspiration and aspirations.
Wednesday, Mars retrograde in Cancer opposes the Sun in “A mountain pilgrimage” from “A storm in a canyon” – a degree James Burgess describes as “A crisis leading to transformation”. This empowering and bold moment in the Mars/Sun synod could signify a time of conflict on the world stage while on the personal front could represent the culmination of a major accomplishment – a real phoenix rising from the ashes moment. Use any opposition/challenges that arise to fuel your progress.
Friday the Sun sextiles Neptune from the USA’s Pluto degree (A large aviary) – it’s a great day to tune out unnecessary noise and tune into the more subtle messages from the universe.
Saturday hosts our first major conjunction of 2025 when Venus meets up with Saturn. This can be a sobering transit which may prompt a significant reset in our relationships, finances or value systems – it occurs in Pisces 17 (A parade) – a degree related to celebrations and public rituals. The next day, Mercury sextiles both Saturn and Venus and the Sun enters Aquarius and my favorite degree (An old adobe mission). These sextiles and the Sun’s re-activation of this powerful degree are likely to reinvigorate a collective demand for more balance and long-term stability.
