Monthly Transits – Sept 2025

September has arrived, bringing us fully into eclipse season. This month brings us inevitable endings and extreme clarity, as it clears the way for powerful new starts.

We begin the month with Saturn moving back into Pisces where it will be until it re-enters Aries in Feb 2026 and stays until 2028. Use these last few months of Saturn in Pisces to clear the decks, take stock and finish up projects that need to be brought to completion so in 2026, new, more effective cycles can carry us forward.

The September 7th Pisces Full Moon Lunar Eclipse activates potent spiritual integration and release energies. What’s being cleared away and composted as part of this eclipse will make room for healing new starts by the 9/21 Virgo New Moon Solar Eclipse. The Solar eclipse sits in the final degree of Virgo, the “halfway” point of the entire zodiac, opposite Saturn in the final degrees of Pisces. Attention will likely be sharply focused at this time on the endings and new beginnings playing out both on the world stage and potentially in our individual lives. Mercury has a busy month, spending the first half of September in Virgo and the last half in Libra. On 9/13 Mercury has its rebirth/cazimi in Virgo 21, a degree that shines a spotlight on teamwork. While September’s major arcana Tarot is The Hermit, and finding time to integrate and detoxify is suggested, this cazimi reminds us that we can benefit from collaboration and the help of others to process and meet the opportunities and challenges of eclipse season.

After the eclipses complete, we enter Libra season where we can begin to rebalance and harmonize. On 9/24, we have the final 2 exact transits of the month, when the Sun in Libra trines and Mars makes a last quarter “crisis in belief” square to Pluto shortly after entering Scorpio.
