Monthly Transits – October 2025

After an intense eclipse season, October brings us balanced action, increased motivation, flow, transformative realizations, positive developments and emotional release.

Mercury is the busiest of the personal planets this month stimulating ideas and communication. The day of the Aries Full Moon, Mercury enters the depths of Scorpio until 10/29 and immediately squares Pluto – deep/dark truths are likely to be revealed.

Expect positive developments to follow a busy first week of October, as Venus takes center stage between 10/8-10/14. Venus sextiles Jupiter on 10/8, opposes Saturn on 10/11, opposes Neptune and enters her domicile of Libra as Pluto stations on 10/13, then forms a grand air trine with both Pluto and Uranus on 10/14. Venus takes her turn as the base of a kite with the outer planets – a configuration activated throughout September by Mercury and the Sun. Venus being the final personal planet to activate this kite from her rulership of Libra is an auspicious sign for collective rebalancing, for justice, peace and cooperation.

The week of the Libra New Moon on 10/21, Mars and Mercury are traveling closely together in Scorpio, aligning our ideas and our willpower to bring about necessary transformation.

Neptune re-enters Pisces for the final time in our lifetimes as we start Scorpio season – major chapters are coming to a final close between now and Feb 2026 when Neptune and Saturn will finally perfect their long-awaited conjunction in the first degree of Aries (a #worldaxis point).

On 10/24, the Sun in Scorpio squares Pluto – this 3rd quarter “crisis in consciousness” square could bring leadership changes on the world stage. Also during the last week of October, a potent grand water trine between Mercury/Mars, Jupiter and Saturn/Neptune is activated. This will up our personal and collective emotional intensity. Between late October and early December, this grand water trine will continue to stir up our emotions, bringing cathartic releases and ushering in more compassion, care and collaboration.
