Monthly Transits – December 2025

“Patience, Persistence, Progress, Peace”

December closes out 2025, a 9 year, a year of endings. This year gave us previews of what’s to come in 2026 though resolutions to some lingering problems may feel illusive as the year comes to a close. Uranus, Saturn and Neptune are finishing their journeys in the signs they began the year in – trust that definitive endings of outdated ways of being are underway.

This month we’re asked to reflect on all the progress that’s been made in 2025 with patience, persistence and faith that peace is possible.

The first week of December hosts a karmic choice point Gemini Full Moon amidst some empowering, healing and productive astrology.

The second week in December is bookended by Mars squaring Saturn then Neptune (which stations direct in Pisces 30 on 12/11) – stay cautious and conserve your physical energy. Your mind may be in overdrive with actionable ideas and plans as Mercury (now direct) makes energizing and transformative connections to all the transpersonal planets.

Mid-month the pace increases a bit as Sagittarius season comes to a close.

Mars moves into its exaltation in Capricorn on 12/15, giving our motivation and productivity a boost which could be dampened a bit as both the Sun and Venus make their “crisis in consciousness” squares to Saturn and Neptune. Use this time to wrap up loose ends, adjust plans as needed and hold faith that any setbacks are opportunities for growth.

The Sagittarius New Moon on 12/19 should find us closing out significant chapters, ready to take successful action after getting to the root of an issue. Take care not to over-focus on appearances.

Christmas week is quiet, calm and peaceful. As Capricorn season begins, we’ll be able to reflect on what new structures we want supporting us as we go into a New Year.
