Monthly Transits – August 2025

Some pleasant surprises and major collective shifts are in store for August!

Key dates to mark: 

8/6 – Mars enters its detriment in Libra and then makes powerful connections to Saturn and all of the outer planets. With the personal planet of our drive and assertion in Venus-ruled Libra, it’s time to tone down the aggression and conflict and boost our powers of negotiation, diplomacy and collaboration. 

8/9 – The Full Moon in Aquarius features a grand air trine (Mars/Uranus/Pluto) and a Mars/Neptune Opposition. More to come soon on this lunation which holds the signature of unmasking corruption and a collective demand for peace.

8/11 – Mercury stations direct – huzzah!

8/12 – Luckiest transit of the year: Venus and Jupiter (the 2 benefics) meet in Cancer 15 – Double huzzah!

Mid-month we get a bit of a transit break, with a prolonged Mars/Mercury sextile transit that may boost our motivation, diplomacy and spark new ideas. 

8/23 – Virgo season begins with a New Moon in Virgo 1 – This lunation is square Uranus and divinely connects back to the March 14, 2025 Solar Eclipse in Virgo. More to come!

8/25 – Venus enters Leo – hear her roar! Just as Mars in Libra did, she’ll powerfully connect with all the outer planets as we close out August, including an opposition to Pluto which will have retrograded back to Aquarius 2 – An unexpected thunderstorm.

8/28 – Uranus in Gemini perfects its first sextile to Neptune in Aries – expect news of creative breakthroughs on the world stage.
