Daily Transit – 2/28/2024

Wednesday’s double cazimi/triple conjunction of Mercury, Saturn and the Sun takes place in Pisces 10: An aviator in the clouds, at the culmination of the 1st decan of Pisces. This is the 5th degree of Expression 68: Integration. Rudhyar gives this Sabian the keyword “Mastery” as it’s one of assimilation, progression and transcending limitations. Time to do what you or others never thought possible!

The Tarot is dominated by The World major (Saturn) given its presence in the transit and its rulership over this first decan of Pisces. Endings and beginnings come into focus with clarity coming this week on paths forward. Following our sun/happiness and manifesting our ideas within the dreamy boundaries of Saturn in Pisces could seem more possible…but it may require a shift in perspective (Hanged Man/Neptune, Pisces’ co-ruler) and a dose of healthy reality (Saturn).

On the I Ching front: The Sun/Mercury conjunction takes place in Hexagram 37 (The Family – Wind over Fire), Line 4 while the last 2 conjunctions take place in Line 5. Changing BOTH Line 4 and 5 of Hexagram 37 gives you Hexagram 30 (Fire over Fire) which astrologically sits back at the cusp of Aquarius/Pisces where the Sun/Mercury recently wrapped up their journey through the Pluto-occupied sign of the Collective – so I see this conjunction as a critical “checkin” point on lessons learned over the past 4-6 weeks. @bellwen also notes in her I Ching, the Oracle “At the heart of hex 37 is the political philosophy that the strength and power of a nation pivots upon the…status of its society’s women.” Food for thought as later this week Venus will make healing sextile to Chiron and square Uranus.

There’s great potential for practical realizations, but also for burnout with this astrology…so heed the advice of the 8 of cups and make sure you’re leaving behind any and all things that no longer serve you so you can set your dreams ablaze as a newly re-birthed Magician.
