Daily Transit – 2/13/2024

Venus sextiles her higher octave Neptune. With Mars nearing its exact conjunction with Pluto and Venus following suit on the 17th, this transit may be a bit under hyped, so I thought I’d dive into its Tarot, Sabians and I Ching to honor how this (on the surface) easy flowing energy between our values and dreams may influence the more dynamic Pluto conjunctions.

I say on the surface, because based on the exact degree (26°10′) where this sextile takes place, the energies for this transit actually seem quite dynamic, revelatory and illuminating – a fitting pre-game for these new starts that Pluto will be ushering in for all our personal planets.

The 3rd decan is the shadow decan for both the speedy Knight of Swords (Capricorn into Aquarius) and passionate Queen of Wands (Pisces into Aries). The Empress (Venus) is sitting in a Sun-ruled decan (in a Saturn/The World ruled sign) while The Hanged Man (Neptune) is shifting his perspective in a Tower (Mars)- ruled decan in a sign he rules.

The 27 Sabians are “Contrast/Challenge” Sabians in the repeating 5-degree Sabian expression pattern. In Capricorn, “A mountain pilgrimage” describes a rise in human consciousness and in Pisces “A harvest moon” is a karmic moment of consummation.

Venus’ I Ching for this sextile is Hexagram 61 (Inner Truth), Line 6. The Rave I’Ching describes this line as “Appeal: The profound attunement to the collectivity that can lure the public to a truth”.
Neptune’s I Ching for this sextile is Hexagram 36 (The Darkening of the Light), Line 4. The Rave I’Ching describes this line as “Espionage: The ability to prepare for and anticipate decline through the accumulation of secret or privileged information”.
