Wisdom References
adobe mission primarily uses Pamela Coleman Smith’s deck (abbreviated RWS for Rider-Waite-Smith) for imagery, card order and naming.
adobe mission also draws on the wisdom of Aleister Crowley’s Book of Thoth and other Tarot heavy weights including Rachel Pollack, T. Susan Chang, Mel Meleen and many others.
Eventually this page will have more detail about inspirations and the amazing cards of the Minor Arcana…to be continued…
Ordering, Numerology
adobe mission orders the Minor Arcana (and Court) as shown above where after the 22 Majors come Wands (Court followed by Minors), then Cups, Swords, and lastly Pentacles. This ordering is used by many numerology practitioners.
Planetary & Sign Correspondences
adobe mission uses the Golden Dawn system for Chaldean planetary rulerships in its correspondences of the minor arcana to astrological decans.
The above graphic shows Tarot for Sagittarius which holds Uranus, Mercury, Sun and Neptune (not to mention Ceres, Juno, Vesta AND Lilith) as well as adobe mission’s Venus!
Knowing which specific decans your planets and points sit in can deepen your understanding of their archetypes, energies and the role they play in your life.
