Planetary & Sign Correspondences
adobe mission uses the Golden Dawn system for the Planets and Sign associations to the Major Arcana…with the incorporation of the outer planets Neptune (The Hanged Man), Uranus (The Fool) and Pluto (Judgement).
The Fool's Journey
adobe mission uses Pamela Coleman Smith’s deck (abbreviated RWS for Rider-Waite-Smith) for imagery, card order and naming.
adobe mission also draws on the wisdom of Aleister Crowley’s Book of Thoth for correspondences and is deeply influenced by Rachel Pollack’s analysis of the Fool’s Journey through the 3 lines of 7 major arcana cards.
Eventually this page will have lots more detail about the amazing cards of the Major Arcana…to be continued…
Which card is 8? 11?
adobe mission uses the RWS (not Thoth) ordering for the Major Arcana, which means Strength is 8 and Justice is 11 (Thoth is opposite).
Eventually I may include more detail on the fun things about this 8 – 11 relationship and the other quirky differences between the RWS and Thoth decks.
