While potentially disorienting, August’s eclipse portal reawakens creativity, ushers in leadership changes and awakens the collective consciousness as the lunar nodes slowly settle into Leo (South Node) and Aquarius (North Node).

August begins on the heels of the late-July Aquarius Full Moon with few transits early in the month. Mid-month, Mercury enters Leo and Venus enters her home sign of Libra, and both personal planets reactivate the outer planets in the first decans of their signs. Expect instability and confusion to surround the Leo New Moon Solar Eclipse on 8/12 and prepare inwardly to meet the moment with grace and calm.

The Pisces Lunar Eclipse on 8/27 occurs during a Mercury (newly in Virgo) cazimi and is square Uranus, another loud signature of unexpected change that advises we withdraw from harmful patterns and remain adaptable to new circumstances while warning against isolationism.
