“Nurture is necessity”

Welcome to the quietest week of November. On Tuesday, Jupiter stations retrograde, where it will travel back through the Sabian expressions of Centring and Maturity until March 10, 2026. James Burgess gives Cancer 26, the first degree of the Uniting expression, the theme of “Power, responsibility and impermanence of social position.” Over the next four months, Jupiter will pull us inward and refocus our attention on our home lives. This period of time is helping us reframe our philosophies around emotional security and grow through refinement of our nurturing instincts.

Mercury retrograde re-connects with Mars in Sagittarius 7, a degree focused on romance. Boundaries may need to be reestablished as we rework how we are nurturing ourselves and others. When communicating, take care not to pick unnecessary fights, your ego could be hijacking your words and Mercury in Sagittarius doesn’t always think before it speaks.
