Monthly Transits – April 2025

The astrology of April keeps our focus on the #piscespileup / #worldaxis with slightly less intensity and much more forward momentum than March.

Fresh off the heels of March’s eclipses and Neptune’s move into Aries, the first week of April brings us a Saturn/Uranus sextile with collective opportunities for blending tradition and innovative progress. Personally, our motivation levels, drive and physical stamina can benefit from Mars’ sextiles to Uranus and its trines to both Saturn and Venus.

Mercury kicks off the second week of April by stationing direct the same day Venus joins Saturn. With all this activity in the final Sabian Expression, it may feel like our faith is repeatedly being tested as we’re being asked to align our values with our highest ideals.

On the 12th, Venus stations direct in Pisces 25 and the Sun conjuncts Chiron in Aries 23 the day of the Full Moon in Libra 24. More coming soon on the healing potential of this mid-month lunation.

The third week of April brings us forward momentum as Mercury enters Aries, meeting up with Neptune in the first degree of the zodiac on the 16th, followed by Mars re-entering Leo on the 17th after its long retrograde journey through Cancer. As Mars moves into Leo, it makes a potent trine with Neptune on the 19th, newly in Aries, allowing us to align our dreams and ambitions at the start of Taurus season. The Sun squares Mars the next day while Mercury sextiles Pluto and Venus sextiles Uranus. Keep hostility in check and nurture your soul this weekend, there’s support for unique solutions and effortless transformations.

The pressure builds in the last week of April with the Sun squaring Pluto, Venus making her second conjunction this month to Saturn and Mars making its third and final opposition to Pluto ahead of the 4/27 New Moon in Taurus.
