Virgo Full Moon Lunar Eclipse

“Wait until the darkness has set in completely before you start the uprising.”

The Virgo Full Moon Lunar Eclipse kicks off eclipse season with intensity, isolation, darkness, and the promise of light to come, even if current assignment is to wait as darkness grows.

The lunation’s Tarot include The Hermit (Virgo), The Moon (Pisces), The Magician (rules Virgo/its 3rd decan), The Hanged Man & the Wheel of Fortune (Neptune & Jupiter rule Pisces), and The Tower (Mars rules Pisces’ 3rd decan). The decans hold the tenacity and mental clarity of the Queens of Wands/Swords and the happy endings and legacies embodied in 10s of cups/pentacles. As chaos, impending endings and uncertainty surround us, we are asked to pause and tap into our intuitive manifesting powers.

The Moon sits in Virgo 24, a degree related to purity of spirit and innocence. The Sun sits in Pisces 24, a degree related to adaptability and cohabitation vs isolationism.

The Moon sits in Hex 36 (The Darkening), and the Sun is in Hex 6 (Conflict), Lines 2. @bellwen translates 36.2 as “A darkening of the light. One from the eastern tribes has injured the left leg. Rescued by a strong horse. Auspicious.” The left/east relate to the right hemisphere of the brain (where intuition resides), unorthodox paths, left-wing politics, and the marginalized. “In a…reading of the line…note that it is unfavorable in near-future events to be positioned on the left.” Her advice: “Persevere like a horse and you will get through. Transcend your wound and become the wounded healer. Wait until the darkness has set in completely before you start the uprising. Use darkness to veil your light. Do not compel the change. A push for change is in the air, but the time for change has not yet come.”  She calls Hex6 “The Trial”, noting on 6.2 “Your adversary has the upper hand. Retreat, return home. Do your best to settle the dispute, even if it means personal sacrifice. A greater good will be served. It’s a dire warning not to engage in conflict with an enemy more powerful than you.”
