Pisces New Moon

The Pisces New Moon on 2/27 moves us into uncharted territory, and, in true Pisces-style, serves up a heavy dose of uncertainty, mystery and spirituality.

Tarot correspondences include The Moon (Pisces), The Hanged Man (Neptune, Pisces’ Modern ruler), The Wheel of Fortune (Jupiter, Pisces’ traditional ruler), The World (Saturn rules Pisces Decan 1), and the 8 and King of Cups. These cards speak of the need to harness emotional maturity and spiritual wisdom when combatting the uncertainty, illusion, delusion, and dissolution that comes with moving into unknown territory.

Pisces 10’s Sabian Symbol, “An aviator in the clouds”, is the culminating degree of the Sabian Expression of Integration. Burgess gives this degree the keynote “Highest levels of achievement.” Lynda Hill warns that while this degree may relate to seeking higher truths and mastery, it can also relate to escaping responsibilities, isolating oneself, avoiding reality or missing the point.

The Sun & Moon sit in Hexagram 37 (The Family), Line 5. @bellwen says of this line: “The principal king visits the home…fear not the uncertainty, for there will be blessings of prosperity…The familial relationship narrated in the fifth line is that between king and subjects, but there is a twist here – the principal king is, in some respects, an outsider. Yet the prognostication of one of harmony and good tidings. Govern the clan with love, not with fear. The king must be like a loving father…not tyrannical.” This line changes Hex37 to Hex22 (Grace), of which @bellwen writes “Although things are going well, a general economic downturn might be up ahead, so be prepared. Start saving and conserving now for that rainy day to come…nevertheless, the final outcome will be fortuitous. Beautify and harmonize the northeast area of your home…to help navigate the downturn in economic tines to come.”
