Virgo New Moon

“From struggle to liberation” – this Labor Day New Moon is unveiling a fresh start and a more abundant, service-focused chapter in our lives as we reorient ourselves after a tough period.

Virgo 12’s Sabian Symbol is “A bride with her veil snatched away”, a symbol related to taking action, an initiation and an unveiling. It corresponds well with the I Ching Hexagram 40 (Deliverance), Line 6 which speaks of illumination and sudden liberating releases that can occur when decisive action is taken with a correct attitude. According to @bellwen this line advises against letting things fester – deal with problems when they’re detected, don’t let your inner naysayer intimidate you from action. This Line changes Hex40 to Hexagram 64 (Before Completion), the last of the 64 hexagrams which speaks of change, specifically the transition from chaos to order – we are reminded that every end is just another beginning.

As we plunge into the middle of service-oriented Virgo season, we may find ourselves ripping off the band-aids of change and starting entirely new chapters in our lives.
