Weekly Transits – 8/19/2024

After a high-energy weekend with a Mercury cazimi square Uranus, next week kicks off with an incredibly potent Full Moon in Aquarius square Uranus + a Venus/Saturn/Jupiter T-square. This double T-square day is sure to be a spicy culmination of energies and a pivotal crossroads meant to move the collective forward! Expect a significant shift to occur mid-week once the Sun moves into get-er-done Virgo. The same day, Venus squares Mars, re-emphasizing the ongoing rebalancing between the divine masculine and feminine, both in the collective and within our personal lives.

To better understand this ongoing dynamic, it’s helpful to look at the 5-degree expressions Mars and Venus are moving through.

Venus starts the week conjunct VP Harris’ natal Venus in the highly intuitive “A Ouija board” degree – the 3rd degree in the expression “Cultivation”. She moves through symbols related to being a role model, working cooperatively towards a common goal, then on to the expression of “Responsibility” with symbols relating to putting community goals above personal ambition, the responsibilities of high office, overcoming pride, purity of spirit and community approval. Sounds like a pretty decent week for a convention to me!

Mars is moving through the “Clearing” expression of Gemini, which holds themes of spiritually integrating the lessons we learn from our emotional triggers, refusing to be defeated/lose hope, and refining our personality to be in good standing with our community. Another beautiful mundane/DNC-related synchronicity = by week’s end Mars will have made it to Gemini 25 (A man trimming palms 🌴) which happens to be the degree of VP Harris’ North Node and Ascendant!

We enter Virgo season and next weekend with a spattering of easier/flowy aspects between Mercury, Mars and Chiron with a Moon exalted in Taurus. Expect the energies to significantly shift over the course of the week as we move forward and settle into new, nourishing, service-focused, productive patterns.
