Weekly Transits – 7/15/2024

The spiciest week of July has kicked off with a Mars/Uranus conjunction and culminates with a very potent Capricorn Full Moon where all our personal planets will be activated to play their part in the significant transformations afoot.

Uranus is making its presence known this week so expect the unexpected! And Pluto’s influence also looms large, while its lower octave, Mars is making a lot of noise. Let’s break it down:

Monday’s meeting of Mars and Uranus (conjunct Medusa/Algol) can bring up surprises, outbursts of masculine energy and general disruptions. Also Monday, the Sun is squaring Chiron. Stay cautious, measured and safe out there. Thankfully, Mars and Uranus meet in Taurus 27 which has the Sabian symbol “An old native woman selling beads”. This symbol of calm wisdom and “Peaceful adaptation to collective needs” will hopefully tamper and allow us to find the healing potential within any destructive manifestations of these transits.

On Thursday, the Sun makes a sextile to Uranus – bringing liberating support for our higher purpose and perhaps more clarity around what Mars stirred up in the earlier part of the week. That same day, Mercury and Chiron share a flowing trine – simultaneously sharpening our focus and opening our minds to new healing opportunities.

Saturday, Mars sextiles Neptune and moves into communicative, dualistic Gemini right before another Capricorn Full Moon (a blue moon!) on Sunday.

On the day of the full moon, Venus sextiles Jupiter, the Sun trines Neptune, Mercury squares Uranus, AND Mars trines Pluto! This Full Moon packs a PUNCH. With the last degree of Capricorn and the 1st degree of Aquarius (my fav!!) at play, Pluto’s transition from Capricorn to Aquarius is central to the themes of this moment. The spotlight is on traditional structures (what is and is NOT working), inspirational leadership, power and influence. Something new is emerging that combines old wisdom, sustainable structures and the growing needs of the collective for long-term prosperity.
