Monday 7/22 kicks off Leo season! This fixed fire, Sun-ruled sign of the Lion will be hosting the Sun, Venus and Mercury  – intensifying how we utilize, express and share our personal gifts with pride.

As Mercury and Venus recently did, the Sun too on Tuesday will go through the opposition to Pluto in Aquarius (in my favorite degree!) – this third-time’s a charm personal planet checkin with Pluto can help us more fully realign our personal power and vitality with the transformations that will support us for the long term.

And on Thursday (7/25), our self-confidence gets a boost with a lovely sextile between the Sun and Mars. Also on Thursday, Mercury enters Virgo. The first Sabian Expression (5 degrees) of Virgo has the theme of “Conviction”, and Mercury will have us attempting to leverage the practicality of Virgo to efficiently execute on our plans…but keep in mind that on August 4th Mercury is going to station retrograde in the 5th degree of Virgo and travel back to Leo 22 until 8/28…so expect August to be a month where we’re revisiting the conversations and revising plans and ideas that have been birthed since mid-July.

Chiron also stations retrograde this week in the 24th degree of Aries – “Open window and a net curtain blowing into a cornucopia”, pulling focus to how this Sabian related to spiritual abundance can promote healing in our lives.

With the exception of the Pluto/Sun opposition, it’s a relatively quite week astrologically. August will hold a much different flavor with Mercury and the majority of our outer planets in retrograde…so take these last couple weeks of July to set yourself up for this upcoming month of review, reconsideration and reflection. And if possible, sign those contracts before 8/4 (and review them carefully)!
